Extra Credit Opportunities

The videos below are optional enrichment designed to supplement the material learned in your math class. They are not all about math; rather they cover topics that hopefully will pique your curiosity and make you think. You may watch up to 2 videos per marking period, each for 5 points of extra credit. Unless a specific video instructs you otherwise, you must summarize the video in 200-250 words and state 3 things that you learned, found interesting, or just want to comment on.

After you watch a video, you will need to access the extra credit form here. It is your choice of whether to type or handwrite. Print the form and submit it in class.

You may use each video only one time. You will not receive credit for summarizing the same video a second time in a later marking period. Your response must be completely your own work. If any part of a response is plagiarized, it will receive no credit and you will not be permitted to submit extra credit for the rest of the school year.

You may turn in extra-credit assignments at any time throughout the marking period. The last day to turn in extra-credit is 3 days before the marking period ends.

You will need the special extra credit username and password that is listed on your Schoology page. This is different from your personal username/password that you use to log into your class page. Have fun!
